For the record, Willpower had a spectacular poop last night at about 9 PM (right after his bath, of course), and then proceeded to stay awake most of the evening.
Scratch constipation off the list of things that might be keeping him awake.

I found that with our first child, he was always gassy. We did a lot of mylicon drops - which helped but he still seemed uncomfortable a lot of the time. At a certain point, I decided to try to see if it was something I was eating that was causing him problems. After eliminating a lot of dairy from my diet, he seemed less gassy. So, I went a few months without drinking milk, eating ice cream, cutting down on cheese, etc. It wasn't easy - but it was worth it! I know it's so hard when you can't seem to help them get comfortable. I hope it gets better for all of you soon!
