At some point this morning, we’re going home with Baby Will, and it’s so exciting that Pam and I have been awake since about 5 AM.  We’ve just gotten him out of the nursery, and we’re going to hang out with him for a few minutes until the pediatrician wants him back at 6 or 6:30.

From the moment we arrived at Carle Foundation Hospital late Wednesday evening, the staff as been amazing - attentive without being smothering, knowledgeable friendly and very open to questions.  And we can’t say enough good things about Pam’s OB: Dr. Tiffani Dillard is awesome!  Thank you to her and the Carle staff for a fantastic delivery and recovery.

When we get home, we’re going to have a house full of love - Grandma and Grandpa Adomite are staying with us, and Al & Susan and Great-Grandma Jean Lenny are coming up for a visit today.  Plus we have neighbors and friends and three cats whose reaction is still an unknown.

Another day of excitement - B-Day + 2.

And, the Illini play Penn State at 11 AM.  Maybe we’ll get extra lucky today?
